Facebook: How to remove / delete a friend request you sent to someone
You may have found yourself in this situation too. You mistakenly clicked the “Send Friend” request button and didn’t know the way to opt out. You would have to wait till the person accepts the friend request then you would unfriend them or perhaps, keep them if you like their face.
On the other hand, I take it personally whenever one gives me those heart wrenching cold shoulders when I send a friend request to them on Facebook. While I must admit that some folks don’t make out time to study their pending friend requests, others simply ignore them.
So I want to take my request back since it wasn’t honoured.
Just follow the steps below:
- Click the FriendRequest Button at the top right side of your Facebook Page.
- Click the Find Friends Link from the Drop Down
3. On the top Left Side of the Screen, Click the View Sent Requests Link
4. Hover over Friend Request Sent next to the request you’d like to cancel
Select Cancel Request > Cancel Request
That will be it. With this you would have reversed the Friend Request you sent inadvertently to someone or that which you sent but the friend hasn’t confirmed you and you think he is giving you the cold shoulders.
